The DALI system is a modern lighting control system. It makes it easy to control both individual luminaires and a group of luminaires. It also allows you to freely configure the lighting, adapting it to the requirements of different users.
DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a standard lighting control system that startedred up in 2000. So, how does it works? DALI is based on the use of digital control devices called ballasts which are placed directly within lighting fittings. The DALI network topology allows addressing 64 independent luminaires located on one common module. When it comes to facilititate a greater number of luminaires, it is possible to use more modules than one. A two-wire transmission line is used for data transmissio and in order to simplify assembly, minimize cabling costs and accelerate construction, cabling manufacturers have created dedicated cables integrating the power supply wires of luminaires together with the control wires.
The use of lighting working under the control of the DALI system allows full flexibility when it comes to required light intensity. DALI has an ability to create so-called light scenes, i.e. pre-programmed settings for several lamps connected virtually in the so-called groups where you can gain the ability to easily control multiple fittings at once. This approach to lighting control also facilitates system integration with other intelligent building functions. This is a next step to be closer to Smart Home throughout.
We can design industrial as well as home lighting installations depending on personal & project needs.
